Our review paper on the indirect effects of malaria prevention measures has been published!
Various measures are used to prevent malaria, including insecticide-treated mosquito nets. However, it has been found that not only are these measures effective for people living in homes with mosquito nets, but also, for people living in homes without mosquito nets. This ‘indirect’ effect has been referred to by various names in the literature (e.g., community effects, spillover effects, etc.) Our research team in Kenya conducted a systematic scoping review on this topic.
